While I found Central Park Story Book 1 to be creative and surprisingly captivating, Book 2 takes the story to a whole new level. I was quite impressed by the author's clever use of imaginative devices which enabled Christopher Middleton to solve his internal conflicts. He has to overcome the loss of his parents and find himself amidst the social as well as academic challenges facing him at his new school. He is aided by the guidance he receives from unlikely sources and is inspired by the heartfelt honesty and integrity of his classmate, Jennifer, who is emerging from her own cocoon. The story is enhanced by interesting historical points of interest relating to Central Park and ultimately soars in the discovery of the simple solution to all his problems.Product details

R. Trout has done it again!!!!! His blend of vivid imagination mixed with historical characters makes for one fine read. Definitely a book for any young reader or even adult. Can't wait for number 3!!!!!!
Book two is just as intriguing as book one! Christopher is a lovable character who's surroundings are exciting and magical. My only advice would be to read Book One before setting foot on the sequal! Hard to imagine this will be the last of the series...
